In Buffered Parking Mode, recording will start a few seconds before and a few seconds after an impact has been detected allowing for enough coverage of the event. In Time Lapse Mode, the dashcam will take low frame rate snapshots, which will appear as a video during playback.

The lower bitrate allows for continuous recording of mini-sized files. To utilize parking surveillance, though, you will need to purchase separately the optional Viofo HK3-C hardwire kit which is specific to Viofo A139.

The A139 dash cam uses ultra-thin 6m coaxial cable, which makes installation so much easier than the typical thicker cables other dashcams use. The cables tuck away nice and easy as you route them to the various cameras. It also utilizes plug-in mini connectors making for a much tidier-looking installation.
