Thinkware U3000 4K Dual Dash Cam W/ Hardwire Cable

The Thinkware U3000 is a 4K dual dash cam that utilizes a Sony STARVIS 2 sensor to deliver high-resolution video evidence under variable lighting conditions. It integrates advanced radar-based parking surveillance and cloud-connected safety features for comprehensive vehicle protection. This system is ideal for daily commuters and professional drivers who require reliable, high-fidelity monitoring.

4K Sony STARVIS 2 Imaging: Enhanced Detail and Clarity

Records 4K UHD video using the Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 image sensor and an Ambarella CPU for high-performance processing. This setup allows for an adjustable bitrate to fine-tune the balance between file size and image detail. The inclusion of Wide Dynamic Range and Smart Auto-Exposure ensures that license plates remain visible even in direct sunlight or heavy glare. It provides the high-fidelity evidence needed for accurate incident reporting.

Thinkware U3000 4K Dual Dash Cam W/ Hardwire Cable night vision camera

Super Night Vision 4.0: Low-Light Performance

Utilizes Super Night Vision 4.0 technology to optimize image sensitivity and noise reduction in dark environments. By leveraging the advanced architecture of the Sony STARVIS 2 sensor, the camera captures usable footage in near-total darkness. It addresses the common challenge of underexposed night driving scenes where traditional sensors fail. This is essential for drivers operating frequently during night hours.

Radar Parking Mode: Intelligent Motion Detection

Employs front and rear radars to monitor for activity while the vehicle is stationary with minimal power draw. When movement is detected within the range, the system exits its low-power state to record a 20-second video clip. This approach prevents unnecessary recording and saves storage space compared to constant video loops. It provides efficient surveillance for parked vehicles in high-traffic areas.

THINKWARE CONNECTED: Remote Vehicle Monitoring

Provides Remote Live View and vehicle status updates through the THINKWARE CONNECTED mobile application. Users receive push notifications for impacts exceeding 3G force and can check the location, driving history, and even the last parking spot image. The system requires a connection to a mobile hotspot or internet-enabled Wi-Fi to transmit data. This is designed for users who want real-time visibility into their vehicle's safety.

Thinkware U3000 4K Dual Dash Cam W/ Hardwire Cable wifi dash cam

Dual-Band Wi-Fi: Fast File Transfers

Features dual-band Wi-Fi with support for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. This allows for faster, more stable file transfers from the dash cam to compatible Android or iOS smartphones via the THINKWARE DASH CAM LINK app. It eliminates the slow download speeds often associated with single-band wireless devices. This facilitates quick access to footage while at the scene of an incident.

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems: Road Safety Alerts

Integrates an ADAS suite that provides real-time audio alerts to warn drivers of potential hazards. The Front Vehicle Departure Warning triggers when the lead vehicle moves, while the Forward Collision Warning System alerts drivers at speeds over 40 km/h. Additionally, the Lane Departure Warning System activates at speeds above 50 km/h to signal unintentional lane drifts. These features assist in mitigating common accident causes.

Built-in GPS: Speed and Safety Camera Alerts

Tracks your vehicle's speed and position data using an integrated GPS antenna. The system provides timely alerts for upcoming red light cameras and speed cameras to help drivers stay within legal limits. This data is also embedded into video footage to provide proof of location and speed during an insurance claim. It is highly recommended for drivers who travel in unfamiliar urban environments.
