IP67 Waterproof Durability: Built for Extreme Exterior Exposure

The VIOFO RWC400 rear camera features an IP67 waterproof rating, signifying it is fully dust-tight and can survive submersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. This robust design ensures the camera withstands heavy rain, road spray, snow, ice, and even high-pressure automatic car washes without damage. 2K HDR 30fps Recording: Sony STARVIS 2 Clarity Day and Night

The RWC400 waterproof rear camera records crisp 2K resolution at 30 frames per second, powered by a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 sensor. This advanced sensor delivers exceptional visual clarity in varying light conditions, ensuring crucial details are captured whether driving during the day or at night. The high-resolution footage provides vital evidence for rear-end collisions or parking incidents, enhancing overall vehicle security.

Advanced HDR Technology: Capture License Plates in Low Light

Equipped with advanced HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology, the VIOFO RWC400 rear camera offers a greater range of light levels to perfectly solve overexposure issues. This capability is critical for nighttime recording, allowing the camera to precisely capture car license plate numbers from behind in challenging low-light environments. Drivers gain peace of mind knowing that important details will remain visible and legible, regardless of ambient lighting.

Hydrophobic Lens Coating: Clear View in Rainy Conditions

The RWC400 features a hydrophobic lens coating that actively repels water droplets, maintaining a consistently clear view even during heavy rain. This specialized coating prevents water from adhering to the lens surface, eliminating streaks and distortions that can obscure critical footage. The result is consistently sharp and usable video, ensuring reliable performance in all wet weather scenarios.

Exterior Mounting Solution: Unobstructed Rear View for Any Vehicle

Designed specifically for exterior mounting, the VIOFO RWC400 can be installed on tailgates, bumpers, or license plate brackets, providing an unobstructed view regardless of vehicle design. This external placement is the ultimate solution for vehicles with heavily tinted rear glass, metal cargo barriers, or no rear window at all. It ensures clear rear-facing footage where interior cameras would be blocked, making it ideal for trucks, SUVs, vans, and commercial vehicles.

A329 Platform Compatibility: Seamless Integration and Upgrade

The VIOFO RWC400 seamlessly connects to the rear camera port on any VIOFO A329, A329S, A329T, T330, and T340 series front dash cam unit. This plug-and-play installation requires no firmware changes and replaces the standard interior-mount RC420 rear camera with a weather-sealed exterior alternative. It is the identical waterproof camera included in the A329SW and A329WW packages, making it a perfect upgrade or replacement for existing systems.
