Day-and-Night Interior Recording

This cabin camera captures Full HD 1080p footage at 30 fps with a 2 MP sensor, delivering detail that helps you review events with confidence. Two integrated infrared LEDs (950 nm) illuminate the cabin after dark so the video remains bright and readable when streetlights and dome lights aren’t enough.

A 120° diagonal field of view is tuned for interior use, covering front seats and the rear bench without excessive distortion. For continuous monitoring, the infrared system remains active at all times. Daytime recordings may show a purple tint, which is normal behavior for 24/7 infrared operation and does not affect clarity of recorded activity.

Seamless U3000 PRO Integration

Purpose‑built for the Thinkware U3000 PRO, this accessory connects directly to the main dash cam and is supported without additional hardware. The U3000 PRO can simultaneously run the Rear View Camera and this Interior Infrared Cabin Camera, giving you comprehensive front, rear, and cabin coverage in one system.

Installation is straightforward with the included 0.5 m (1.6 ft) cable and DC 5 V input. Please note: the Interior Infrared Cabin Camera and LTE Module cannot be used at the same time. If you rely on LTE connectivity, plan your configuration accordingly.

Setup Tips and Recording Notes

Because viewing angles inside vehicles can vary, Thinkware recommends recording a short test clip after mounting to verify aim and coverage. Minor adjustments go a long way toward centering the cabin, minimizing headliner glare, and capturing both front and rear seating positions.

This cabin camera does not record audio. Sound is captured exclusively by the U3000 PRO’s front dash cam unit. If you review footage frequently, keep in mind that the always‑on infrared system may produce a purple cast in daytime clips; this is expected and preserves round‑the‑clock interior visibility.
